As you may know, the new European privacy law (GDPR) came into effect on May 25, 2018.
We've been working hard to ensure that iGloo complies with these new regulations and that all leads generated through iGloo's software comply with these new regulations.
We've updated our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service in accordance with GDPR.
You can view our new Privacy Policy and our Cookies Policy here:
http://iglooapp.com/privacy-policy/
It's our goal to give you more clarity around the rights of you as a user and the rights of your audience.
We've also added a new feature to all lead forms inside the iGloo builder which comprises a check box. What this means is that subscribers of your iGloo pages can ticket this check box to accept your Privacy Policy when they become a subscriber of yours.
Here is what this new form looks like:
In order for you to be compliant with GDPR, every user will need to accept your Privacy Policy in order to subscribe to your list.
NOTE: if you already have lead capture forms on your iGloo-built pages, they may not be compliant right now. Please double check and edit your current pages to reconnect your forms and ensure the check box shows up next to the sign up form.
You can re-connect your forms by going into the iGloo editor and re-connecting your form. Then select the option to enable GDPR compliance which you should see in this part of the builder:
